Accushield kiosks function using power from either an electrical wall outlet or a combination of power from an electrical wall outlet and a battery. If your kiosk type uses a power adapter when the kiosk is plugged into an electrical wall outlet, you need to use the power adapter with the proper specifications. See the information below about using the correct power hardware for your kiosk. 


First, confirm which kiosk application you have installed on your kiosk. 

  • If the camera on your kiosk is located above or below your kiosk screen, your kiosk power cord plugs directly into a electrical wall outlet and does not use a power adapter. This kiosk does not have a battery and must be plugged in at all times to function.
  • If the camera on your kiosk is located to the left of your kiosk screen, plug the power cord into the Samsung power adapter and then into the wall.

  • If your Samsung kiosk power adapter has been lost or stolen, you will need to purchase a new one.
