Your Accushield kiosk must be online (connected to Wi-Fi and the internet) in order to work properly.  We recommend connecting your kiosk to a staff Wi-Fi network because a guest or public network will inevitably disconnect the kiosk from the internet as it cycles through IP addresses


To connect your kiosk to Wi-Fi, follow the steps below.



CONNECTING TO WI-FI


  • Tap the Accushield logo at the top of the kiosk sign in / sign out screen 5-6 times and the "Kiosk Description" page will appear
OR


  • Tap the "Settings" option on the left side of the screen
  • Depending on which kiosk you have and which Accushield application is installed on the kiosk, select either "Network & Internet" or "Connections"
  • Tap "Wi-Fi"
  • Select the name of your staff's secure Wi-Fi network and enter the password
  • Tap "Connect"
  • Depending on which kiosk you have and which Accushield application is installed on the kiosk, do one of the following steps to exit the settings menu:
    • Wait a minute or two for the kiosk to return to the Accushield application
    • Tap the left facing return arrow at the bottom of the screen in the navigation bar
    • Press and hold the power button to restart the kiosk

  • Tap the Accushield logo at the top of the kiosk sign in / sign out screen 5-6 times and the "Kiosk Description" page will appear.

  • Tap the "Settings" option on the left side of the screen

  • Depending on which kiosk you have and which Accushield application is installed on the kiosk, select either "Network & Internet" or "Connections" 
OR



  • Tap "Wi-Fi"
OR



  • Select the name of your staff's secure Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap "Connect"
OR



  • Depending on which kiosk you have and which Accushield application is installed on the kiosk, do one of the following steps to exit the settings menu:

     

          1.  Wait a minute or two for the kiosk to return to the Accushield app

OR



                2.  Tap the left facing return arrow at the bottom of the screen in the navigation bar



                3.  Press and hold the power button to restart the kiosk
