Your Accushield kiosk uses a touchscreen tablet in the kiosk enclosure.  Knowing which type of tablet your kiosk is using will help you effectively operate the kiosk and easily troubleshoot any issues that you may have in the future. This article will show you how to identify which tablet is in your kiosk enclosure.  Depending on the tablet that you have, the instructions for performing tasks and troubleshooting will be different.


Based on when your community received your kiosk, you will have one of the tablets below in your kiosk: 

  • Elo 10.1" - available starting in April 2020
  • Samsung 10.1"' - available starting in Fall 2017
  • Samsung 9.7" - available starting in Fall 2016


See below for identifying characteristics of each tablet.


ELO 10.1"


  Exterior: 

  • 10.1" widescreen display
  • Camera on the bottom of tablet display
  • Home button is located on the back of the Elo tablet
  • Power button is located on the back of the Elo tablet
  • Power input is located on the back of the Elo tablet
  • The Elo tablet does not have a battery and therefore will not power on unless plugged into a power outlet

SAMSUNG 10.1"

   

    Exterior: 

  • 10.1" widescreen display
  • Camera on left side of your kiosk enclosure
  • Home button on right side of your kiosk enclosure
  • Power button on top of your enclosure
  • Power and battery charging input is located next to the Samsung logo, on the side of the tablet. See the image below:

SAMSUNG 9.7"


    Exterior: 

  • 9.7" display size
  • Camera on left side of your kiosk enclosure
  • Home button on right side of your kiosk enclosure
  • Power button on top of your enclosure
