When using the phone number capture for staff, this allows you to gather phone numbers from your employees that you didn't have in your system. This is helpful in case you need to send a Group SMS, or prefer staff to use the Mobile App for a touchless sign in. Please read on for more information about Phone Number Capture. 


Enable Phone Number Capture for Staff


To enable the phone number capture for staff, log into your dashboard.accushield.com account. Under the "Settings" tab, select "Sign In Features". Once under Sign In Features, check the box next to "Enable Capturing A Mobile Phone Number" and click "Save". 





Kiosk and Dashboard Behavior When Phone Number Capture is Enabled


On the kiosk, after the staff member enters their Employee ID, they will be prompted to enter their phone number. If they do not have a phone number, they can select the continue option. This only applies if the staff member does not have a phone number associated to their account in the Dashboard. 



Once the phone number is entered, it will be immediately input into the staff member's account in the Dashboard.
