Flexible Visitor Categories
When a kiosk user selects the "Sign In" or "Sign Out" options, there are default visitor categories listed on the screen. The visitor categories on the kiosk are also displayed in the Dashboard. For example, there is a "Staff" and a "Residents" tab. The default visitor categories are as seen below:
You have the ability to customize the visitor categories that are displayed in the kiosk, which will subsequently update your Dashboard visitor categories as well. To request to update your visitor categories, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the label you want each visitor category to be. You may remove any of the visitor category as needed. Please note, the character limit under each category on the kiosk is 40 characters. Dashboard labels are limited to 25 characters.
Ex. "Please change the visitor categories to the following:
1. Healthcare Provider or Service Provider = Vendors
2. Family or Guest = Visitors
4. Residents = Resident
5. Community Staff = Employees"
Once complete, your kiosk and Dashboard will reflect the changes.
In addition to customizing the visitor categories, you also have the option to change or remove the labels on the Reason For Visiting screen. For example, if you'd like to change the Events label to "Attend Event / Tour / Other", you have that option. Please email Community Support to implement your desired changes. Please note, the character limit for each label on the kiosk and Dashboard are limited to 25 characters.
Ex. "Please change the Reason For Visiting to labels to the following options:
1. Visit Resident = Visit Patient
2. Visit Staff = Meet with Employee
3. Attend Event = Attend Event / Tour / Other
