Your community's Dashboard Admin can edit and create new visitor/guest profiles to facilitate entry to your facilities via the Accushield Mobile Application or the Accushield Kiosk. 


Editing An Existing Visitor/Guest Account in the Dashboard:


First, you'll want to sign into the Accushield Dashboard. Then select Accounts and choose Family or Guest from the menu dropdown. 




On the lefthand side, you'll want to add filters depending on who you're looking for. You can filter by searching someone's First Name, Last Name, Phone Number - OR - by Group SMS Messaging Status.


Once you've chosen your filters, click Apply. A table of results will render. Click Clear to start over. 



You can use the Search Bar to further refine your results. You can also sort the columns by clicking on the column headers (First Name, Last Name)



Click on the First Name or Last Name of the account you would like to edit. A modal window will appear with the person's account information.




You can edit their First Name*, Last Name*, Home Address and Email Address. You can also set their Group SMS preference ('opt in' to receive SMS Messages and 'opt out' to not receive them) on their profile. (* Required Fields)


Once you've made your changes, click Save to commit the changes or Close to cancel your edits. 


NOTE: You cannot edit the Phone Number field. If you need to modify the phone number for an existing account, please add a new account (using the Add button) and then edit the account to include the correct phone number. See the Add A New Profile section below for instructions or contact Accushield community support at communitysupport@accushield.com for additional needs.



Adding A New Visitor/Guest Account in the Dashboard:


First, you'll want to sign into the Accushield Dashboard. Then select Accounts and choose Family or Guest from the menu dropdown. Click the green Add button. 




Enter the visitor/guest account information, including First Name*, Last Name* and Phone Number* (* required fields).  You can also enter Home Address, Email Address and make sure the Group SMS Messages flag is turned ‘On’ so they can receive your SMS Messages. 


The Phone Number field is very important and should be unique. Remember - it is the phone number that is leveraged during the sign-in process.  If the Phone Number already exists in our database, the system will prompt you to determine whether the information is correct and whether you would like to proceed.




Click the Save button to save your changes or the Close button to cancel.


If that phone number you entered does not already exist in the Accushield database, click Yes to add that person or No to stop the add and return to the list screen.




Click Done to return to the list screen.  




If that phone number you inputed does already exists in the Accushield database, the system will ask you to confirm the persons name and whether you want to add that existing account to your community roster.






Once a person’s account is added, they will be recognized at the kiosk (and will not need to go through the account creation process on the kiosk) and they will be able to download and utilize the Accushield mobile application.
